Position Overview:
As a Hospice Aide at Luna Del Valle Hospice, you will play a vital role in providing compassionate care and support to our patients during their end-of-life journey. Your responsibilities will include assisting with activities of daily living, providing emotional support, and ensuring the comfort and well-being of our patients. This provides care to our patients, while also providing peace-of-mind to our patient's family and loved ones.
Responsibilities:

  • Provide personal care assistance to patients, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
  • Assist with mobility, transfers, and positioning to ensure patient comfort and safety.
  • Offer emotional support and companionship to patients and their families.
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of care provided and any changes in patient condition.
Qualifications:

  • Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification required. (1+ years of general CNA experience highly encouraged)
  • Good, caring bedside manner is required.
  • Compassionate and empathetic attitude towards patients and families.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
