Job description

BGC St. Alban’s Club, now serving 2000 members a year, provides a number of innovative programs and services to meet diverse community needs including daycare, early years programs, children and youth after school programs, sports and skill development, computer skills, arts programs, youth leadership programs, prevention and education, tutoring, mentoring,  summer and leadership camps, aquatic services and community programs, a homeless shelter, and outreach services to 12 satellite Clubs. At St. Alban's, we strive to maintain and strengthen our core services to children and youth while growing to meet the varied and changing needs of our community.


 We are currently accepting applications for Instructor/Guards for 2022 at our Palmerston Pool (located at 843 Palmerston Ave., Bathurst and Dupont area) and Winona Pool (Located at 101 Winona Dr, Toronto, ON M6G 3S8  Christie and St Clair)


  The Aquatics Swim Instructor works in a fast-paced environment, helping children and adults improve their swimming skills in a fun and constructive way.


 We are always looking for enthusiastic lifeguards and swim instructors to join our team.


 Job Duties and Responsibilities


 • Instruct swimming lessons and Aquatics events


 • Quickly and efficiently respond to member questions, comments, and concerns


 • Provide a safe, clean and organized pool area


 • Enjoys working with children


 • Weekend availability


 • Friendly and customer service oriented

Salary


$18 - 3 month Probation Period (DOE)
$19–$20 an hour (DOE)
