Job description

Job Responsibilities Responsibilities of the Custodian: To supervise students during weekend activities and help with student supervision as needed. The employee will report directly to Assistant Director of Residential Life and Director of Residential Life. Employee will supervise students in an activity setting, in the school gym, Activity room and off campus.

Employee will follow all departmental and school policies. Employee will use good judgement and safety protocols. Work environment will change depending on activity or task assigned to be completed.

Employee may work outside, work inside, and transport students in state vehicles. Supervise students in Activity Room. Assist with activities.

Set up and cleanup activities. Supervise students participating in on-campus and off-campus activities, as assigned. Transport students around campus as needed.

Transport students to activities, both on and off campus using a state vehicle. Complete all required documentation. Other tasks as assigned by supervisor.

Minimum and Additional Requirements Must have a high school diploma and have a valid driver's license. Additional Requirements: Must have a valid driver's license. Must be willing to drive a state of South Carolina vehicle.

Must be able to lift 50 pounds. Must have the ability to hear, speak and understand English. Must have effective communication skills.

Must be able to use a computer and Microsoft suite for reporting purposes.
