We are seeking a Lead Teacher to join our organization! This individual will plan and present age-appropriate activities for children.
Program Schedule: Monday - Thursday from 3:30 pm- 5:30 pmÂ
Responsibilities:
o  Tutor small groups of 14students from kindergarten to second gradeÂ
o  Create learning goals for each student.
o  Evaluate the participants’ academic needs.
o  Supervise assistants and volunteers.
o  Prepare lesson plans for each age group weekly and facilitate.
o  Monitor their progress.
o  Meet with the program staff about students' learning goals.
o  Attend parent meetings when necessary.
o  Work in collaboration with staff, students, and volunteers
o  Attend field trips and follow procedures and guidelines mandated when applicable.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in childcare, teaching, or other related fields
- Passionate about working with children
- Ability to build rapport with children
- Positive and patient demeanor
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
