Job description

Chesapeake Christian Fellowship (CCF) is a Christ-centered, non-denominational church committed to sharing the love of Jesus and nurturing spiritual growth across all generations. Our mission is “Seeing People Who Don’t Know Jesus Come to Jesus” - starting with our youngest members.

Position Summary:
We are seeking a passionate, energetic, and spiritually mature Children’s Ministry Leader to guide our ministry for children ages birth through 5th grade. This role is vital to our vision of building strong foundations of faith in the lives of our children and families.

Key Responsibilities:

· Oversee children’s ministry programming, including Sunday services and special programs

· Recruit, train, and lead a team of dedicated volunteers

· Prepare our Bible-based curriculum, God's Kids, to engage children and support their spiritual

development

· Partner with parents to equip them as primary faith influencers in their children’s lives

· Ensure a safe, welcoming, and nurturing environment for all children

· Plan and coordinate seasonal events (ie family nights, holiday programs, etc.)

· Collaborate with church staff to align children’s ministry with the broader vision of the church

Qualifications:

· A growing personal relationship with Jesus Christ and alignment with our church’s mission and

values

· Passion for creative, relevant, and engaging children’s ministry

· Previous experience working with children in a church or ministry setting

· Must attend Chesapeake Christian Fellowship

· Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills

· Ability to recruit and develop volunteers

· Background check required
