Job description

Share your love of nature with children in our beautiful Wetlands Preserve. Help get children outside to experience and learn about our wonderful Florida environment!

You will assist staff during activities which may include marsh/swamp hikes, boardwalk tours, dip netting, crafts, etc. Most activities are outdoors and some will include hiking through various terrains, including mud and water. You chose which programs and activities you prefer to assist with.

Most programs occur on weekday mornings with school groups between 9:30am to 1:00pm. Weekly 3 to 4 hour shifts preferred or a minimum of two shifts a month required.

Public childrens programs run primarily on Saturday/Sunday mid afternoons.

Minimum volunteer age is16+ years old and up.

A completed volunteer application and background check are required.
