Job description

Business Analyst – Child Welfare / SACWIS

Location: Austin (Onsite)

Employment Type: W2 / C2C

 Note: Need state client experience with Child welfare/SACWIS

Responsibilities

·Gather, analyze, and document business and functional requirements

·Work with stakeholders to understand Child Welfare/SACWIS business processes

·Create BRDs, FRDs, use cases, workflow diagrams, and process documentation

·Conduct gap analysis and recommend process improvements

·Coordinate with development and QA teams during SDLC phases

·Support UAT testing, defect tracking, and production validation

·Facilitate meetings, workshops, and stakeholder discussions

·Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations related to Child Welfare systems

·Assist in data mapping, reporting, and system integration activities

Required Skills

·Experience working on Child Welfare or SACWIS projects

·Strong Business Analysis experience in state/government environments

·Experience with requirements gathering and documentation

·Knowledge of SDLC and Agile methodologies

·Strong communication and stakeholder management skills

·Experience with JIRA, MS Visio, Excel, and documentation tools

·Experience with CCWIS modernization projects

·Knowledge of Medicaid/HHS systems

·PMP, CBAP, or related certifications preferred
