Beztak is looking to hire a Life Enrichment Assistant/Driver to join our team. The Life Enrichment Driver is responsible for driving our senior residents to various outings or appointments. This position will also assist our Director of Life Enrichment with coordinating and facilitating activities and events for residents, both inside and outside the community.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
  • Driving residents in community vehicles to social events, various appointments, and special events
  • Encourage resident socialization and participation in activities and events to minimize resident solidarity and promote a positive community environment
  • Provide administrative duties to support the Life Enrichment team
  • Provide event set-up support as needed for activities, concerts, etc.
  • Assist the Director of Life Enrichment with maintaining the Transportation Vehicle records.
  • Manage driving time and clearly communicate with Life Enrichment Team, Concierge, and Residents.
  • Operating a company vehicle or personal vehicle (as required) to perform job duties. Candidates must be willing and able to drive for work-related purposes as needed.
  • Working in a high-pressure environment, interacting with difficult customers/vendors, handling urgent matters, resolving conflicts, having effective interpersonal skills

QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION:
  • Commercial Driver’s License Class A or B, with P endorsement

BACKGROUND CHECK PROCESS:
Beztak and All Seasons complete pre-employment testing in accordance with company policies and all state-requirements. This includes criminal background checks, fingerprinting (where applicable) and drug testing.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS
The position requires the physical ability to operate an automobile. You will be required to regularly sit for long periods of time, and communicate with residents, staff, family members and the public. Frequent bending and lifting up to 50 pounds, re-arranging furniture for events, and climbing stairs.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
  • This position is typically confined to the vehicle they are driving, although at times, you may have to work in an office or other indoor settings.
  • You may be exposed to varying weather conditions such as heat, cold, rain, and snow is common. May occasionally be exposed to extreme conditions, including high heat, humidity, freezing temperatures, and heavy rain while performing outdoor tasks.
