Gotham Enterprises Ltd is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Mental Health Therapist to join our specialized Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Team. This position is categorized as a remote role that integrates seamlessly with our Hospice Center operations. • Conduct thorough mental health assessments for children and adolescents to identify their specific needs and challenges.
• Design and implement personalized treatment plans based on evidence-based practices, ensuring alignment with developmental stages and family structures.
• Utilize various therapeutic techniques to provide individual and family counseling, fostering a safe space for emotional expression.
• Lead family therapy sessions to equip parents and caregivers with tools necessary to create a nurturing home environment.
• Coordinate with child psychiatrists and allied health professionals to deliver comprehensive and timely care tailored to each patient.
• Offer crisis intervention during acute mental health emergencies, demonstrating agility and strong decision-making skills.
• Educate families and patients about mental health disorders, treatment pathways, and available resources, ensuring they remain informed and empowered.
• Maintain meticulous documentation to comply with ethical and legal standards, enhancing the quality of care.
• Participate actively in team discussions and professional development activities, staying abreast of current research and trends in child and adolescent mental health.

The primary focus of your role will be on children and adolescents struggling with various mental health issues, impacting their emotional and developmental well-being. You will engage with families to gain a comprehensive understanding of each child's unique context, thus tailoring your approach to effectively address their needs.

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• Current licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in Texas is essential.
• Demonstrable knowledge of therapeutic techniques for addressing child and adolescent mental health disorders, with a focus on evidence-based modalities.
• Proven experience in delivering therapy to youth, showcasing a strong understanding of developmental psychology.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, underpinned by a compassionate approach tailored to engaging with young individuals and their families.
• Proficiency in using Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems and familiarity with relevant digital tools.
• A collaborative spirit, willing to work within a multidisciplinary team setting.

Applicants with a minimum of two years of post-licensure experience in mental health therapy are preferred. Experience working specifically with children and adolescents presents a significant advantage in understanding their unique emotional and behavioral needs.
