Job description

A well-established, privately held company is seeking a high-potential finance and business leader to join its executive team as part of a planned 3–4-year CFO succession strategy.

This is not a traditional accounting-focused CFO path. Reporting directly to the current CFO, this individual will learn the business and progressively assume broader leadership responsibilities across:
  • Strategic financial and business decision-making
  • Enterprise risk management and insurance
  • Contract and legal oversight
  • Credit and financial risk
  • Executive leadership and partnership with ownership
Candidates may come from corporate finance, public accounting, treasury, commercial banking/lending, strategic finance, or controllership. A CPA is a plus but not required.

The ideal candidate is a strategic, hands-on, low-ego leader with strong financial acumen, sound business judgment, and the ability to develop into a trusted advisor to ownership.
