What You'll Do
  • Provide leadership and direction for the organization's compliance programs, policies, reporting, and practices.
  • Ensure organizational activities comply with regulatory requirements, governance standards, and applicable industry- and location-specific laws.
  • Oversee internal controls and auditing systems that monitor and report on regulated activities and processes.
  • Develop and oversee risk-based compliance testing to identify, detect, and correct noncompliance.
  • Evaluate and implement changes to compliance processes in response to new or amended regulations.
  • Establish communication and training initiatives to educate stakeholders on compliance requirements.
  • Develop major goals and strategies that support broader organizational and functional objectives.
  • Approve compliance policies and processes developed across various sub-functions and departments.
  • Manage the compliance function within the broader corporate organization and provide strategic direction to the team.

What We're Looking For
  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • 8+ years of managerial experience, preferably in compliance, risk management, auditing, governance, or a related field.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of compliance programs, regulatory requirements, internal controls, auditing, and risk management practices.
  • High Energy, Dedicated and willing to work hard.
  • Strong understanding of applicable industry-specific and location-specific laws and regulations.
  • Proven experience developing and implementing compliance policies, procedures, testing programs, and controls.
  • Ability to evaluate regulatory changes and translate them into practical updates to compliance processes.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with experience engaging and educating stakeholders at all levels.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage a departmental function and develop strategies that support broader corporate objectives.
  • Experience partnering with senior leadership and reporting on compliance activities, risks, and recommendations.
