Job Description:
The Department of Pathology at Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital-Milton (BID-Milton) is seeking a full-time Pathologist. Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital-Milton is a nonprofit, 100-bed community hospital that brings advanced, academic-level expertise to a community setting, offering patients high-quality care close to home. It is characterized by an exceptional and collegial working environment. The hospital is affiliated with Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, Harvard Medical Faculty Physicians, and Beth Israel Lahey Health (BILH), one of the largest healthcare systems in Massachusetts.
Job responsibilities include providing diagnostic pathology services, with a focus on breast pathology, gastrointestinal (GI), genitourinary (GU), and gynecologic (GYN) pathology. The position involves interpretation of surgical pathology and clinical laboratory coverage to support the care of patients across a range of medical and surgical specialties. The ideal candidate will be board-certified or board-eligible in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology with subspecialty expertise or strong interest in breast pathology, GI, GU, or GYN. A commitment to diagnostic excellence and collaboration is essential.
This position is primarily located at BID-Milton but occasional coverage at BID-Needham may be required. Call coverage is divided among pathologists from both Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital-Needham and Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital-Milton. There are no cytology or autopsy services.

Pay Range:
$300,000 - $327,500
The base pay range reflects what Harvard Medical Faculty Physicians at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center (HMFP) reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for this role at the time of posting and may be modified from time to time. Actual compensation within this range may be determined based on several factors, including academic appointment, work experience, specialty training, geography of work location, anticipated productivity, FTE basis, and role expectations. In addition to base compensation, this role may be eligible for performance-based incentives, which may include bonuses for productivity and quality HMFP also offers a comprehensive and generous employee benefits program to eligible employees, including health, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance, as well as retirement plan(s) with employer contributions.
