The COO is also responsible for fostering communication between departments, ensuring that operational changes support company goals, and helping resolve any interdepartmental challenges. Building strong relationships with other leaders is essential for driving company-wide improvements and sustaining operational excellence.

What is a chief operating officer?

A Chief Operating Officer (COO) in operations is a senior executive responsible for overseeing the day-to-day administrative and operational functions of a company.
