Job description

About the Team The Markets Operations Chief Administrative Office (CAO) organization, sitting within the broader Markets Chief Operating Office (COO), provides the connective tissue across the Operations franchise - spanning Chief of Staff, Expense & Resource Management, Ops In-Business Risk, and Strategic Initiatives. The Strategic Initiatives pillar partners directly with business-aligned Operations leaders (organized by product, process, cluster, and cross-functional operations) to drive execution of high-priority, often ambiguous, cross-cutting priorities that do not sit neatly within a single vertical. This role is a foundational build-out position within that pillar and will help shape how the function operates as it scales to meet business growth.

Role Summary With recent organizational changes in Markets Operations aligning dedicated Business Engagement Leads by Product, there is a strategic need to elevate the Markets Operations Chief Administrative Office team's (sits within Markets Chief Operating Office) capability to meet this demand and close critical gaps in how the organization engages, communicates, and supports the Markets business. We are seeking a proactive, execution-oriented individual for this hands-on role. This individual will have responsibility for working in close partnership across Markets and Operations, operating as a trusted extension of business-aligned leadership to help identify, structure, and drive resolution of ad hoc challenges, while also playing a central role in strengthening and professionalizing organizational communications across the Markets Operations franchise.

This role requires someone who is comfortable operating with ambiguity, can quickly build credibility with stakeholders, and can translate strategic priorities into structured, trackable execution plans. Key Responsibilities Business Aligned Support Assist in partnering with business-aligned Operations leaders across product, process, cluster, and cross-operations teams to support the execution of strategic priorities and initiatives. Act as a central point of coordination for ad hoc, cross-cutting challenges that require rapid problem-structuring, stakeholder alignment, and follow-through to resolution.

Help translate strategic direction from senior leadership into concrete workplans, milestones, and accountability structures. Track progress against key initiatives, proactively flagging risks, dependencies, and resourcing gaps to leadership. Prepare materials, briefing documents, and analyses to support decision-making by senior Operations leadership.

Support governance routines (steering committees, business reviews, town halls) tied to strategic priorities. Cross-Functional Partnership Build strong working relationships with Chief of Staff, Expense & Resource Management, and Ops In-Business Risk teams to ensure alignment and avoid duplication of effort. Serve as a liaison between Strategic Initiatives leadership and business-aligned Operations leaders, ensuring consistent two-way flow of information.

Represent Strategic Initiatives priorities in relevant forums, working groups, and project teams. Communications Support the improvement of the cadence, quality, and consistency of communications across the Markets Operations organization, including leadership messaging, all-hands content, and initiative updates. Help develop clear, concise, and executive-ready communications (presentations, memos, talking points) that translate complex initiatives into digestible narratives for varied audiences.

Assist in establishing repeatable communication frameworks/templates to improve consistency across the CAO organization. Partner with Chief of Staff / Communications resources to ensure messaging is aligned and well-sequenced. Continuous Improvement Identify opportunities to streamline processes, improve operational efficiency, and enhance the effectiveness of the Strategic Initiatives function.

Contribute to the broader build-out of Strategic Initiatives capabilities as the function matures across London and Tampa. Qualifications 5-8 years of relevant experience in Operations, Trade Support, or Business Management within Markets or a related Financial Services environment. Working understanding of trade lifecycle processes, including trade capture, confirmation, settlement, and reconciliation.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across internal stakeholders and occasionally external parties. Detail-oriented, organized, and comfortable managing multiple concurrent tasks in a fast-paced environment. Education Bachelor's/University degree required.
