Job description

Chief of Staff About the Role

Quindar is looking for a Chief of Staff to increase the effectiveness and leverage of the CEO as the company scales. This role is 12 – 24 months where you will then have the opportunity to become a key lead in the company. Future founders are also encouraged to apply.

The Chief of Staff will help drive the CEO’s highest-priority initiatives, prepare for critical internal and external engagements, run the CEO-facing leadership cadence, and take ownership of high-priority special projects.

The Chief of Staff coordinates across executives and functions to turn CEO priorities into action and ensure important work does not stall.

What You’ll Do Drive CEO Priorities
  • Translate CEO priorities into clear actions, owners, deadlines, and decisions.

  • Keep critical initiatives moving when the CEO is focused on customers, fundraising, or other priorities.

  • Surface blockers and determine where CEO involvement is actually required.

  • Serve as a thought partner to the CEO on strategic and organizational issues.

Executive Communications & Preparation
  • Prepare presentations, briefing materials, talking points, and decision memos for Board, investor, commercial/governments customers, and partner engagements.

  • Support company-wide and executive communications.

  • Turn complex topics into concise narratives, recommendations, and decisions.

  • Coordinate inputs and preparation for high-stakes meetings – typically related to U.S. National Security.

Leadership Cadence & Follow-Through
  • Prepare agendas for leadership meetings around priorities, week-over-week changes, risks, and decisions required.

  • Pre-wire important topics with the appropriate executives.

  • Track decisions, actions, owners, and deadlines and ensure follow-through.

  • Partner with Business Operations on company metrics, planning, and underlying operating processes.

Own Special Projects
  • Take ownership of urgent or strategic initiatives that do not have a natural owner or require CEO-level attention.

  • Create structure around ambiguous problems and drive them through resolution.

  • Coordinate cross-functional initiatives spanning Growth, Product, Engineering, Programs, and Operations.

  • Support initiatives such as major captures, partnerships, executive hiring, AI adoption, fundraising, or critical customer situations.

What We’re Looking For
  • Understanding of National Security programs and initiatives

  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

  • Strong operator who can take an ambiguous problem from idea through execution.

  • High ownership, urgency, and a bias toward closing loops.

  • Excellent judgment and ability to work independently with senior executives.

  • Strong analytical skills and comfort with business, financial, and operating metrics.

  • Ability to move fluidly between strategy and detailed execution.

  • Low ego and comfortable influencing without formal authority.
