Job description

Quality Inspector
Automation Personnel Services is seeking a Quality Inspector for a company based in Sugar Land, Texas. The Quality Inspector is responsible for inspecting goods to ensure they meet a set of consistent standards. Their duties include performing visual inspections and recording quality issues. The role may involve implementing product testing for quality control, reviewing products for defects and errors.
Pay Rate
$15.00 an hour
Schedule and Hours
Monday through Friday 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM
Quality Inspector Duties and Responsibilities
• Conducts inspection, testing, and/or screening for defects in Optoelectronic components.
• Uses of microscopes for further inspection and hand picking of small components using tweezers.
• Documents inspection results by completing reports and logs into quality database.
• Keeps measurement equipment operating by following SOPs (standard operating procedures).
Quality Inspector Qualifications and Requirements
• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Software/ Hardware Knowledge: Basic computer skills; Data Entry is a plus
• Skills/ Abilities: Ability to use microscope; Steady hands; Need to be able to handle very small components
• Willing and eager to learn, cooperate and follow instructions, pays careful attention to detail
