Job description

Buffkin/Baker has partnered with Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital, headquartered in Albany, Georgia, for a new COO. The flagship hospital Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital is a 691-bed teaching hospital and a regional center for cancer treatment, cardiac medicine/surgery, gastrointestinal disease, and neuroscience. The Phoebe Cancer Center is one of the busiest and most advanced in the Southeast.

The Phoebe Heart and Vascular Center performs more open-heart and cardiac catheterization procedures than all other hospitals in the region combined. The COO provides strategic and operational leadership across all hospital functions, with direct oversight of the Vice President of Operations, Vice President of Patient Logistics and Care Coordination, Director of Food and Nutrition, and Director of Plant Operations, along with a dotted-line reporting relationship to the Manager of the Trauma Program.
