Summary

Reporting directly to the President, the Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) serves as a member of Flavorman's Leadership Team and is a key senior leader responsible for driving profitable revenue growth, expanding market presence, and strengthening customer relationships.

The CCO develops and executes the Company's commercial strategy by aligning sales, marketing, and customer success functions around Flavorman's strategic objectives. This executive owns the customer relationship and serves as the primary steward of the customer experience, ensuring all organizational functions are aligned to deliver exceptional value, service, and business results.

The CCO provides strategic leadership by establishing direction, developing commercial policies and plans, leading high-performing teams, and contributing to the Company's long-term growth and profitability. As an Executive Officer, this role establishes strategy, plans, directs and formulates policies, and provides recommendations and information for approval by ownership and/or the Board of Directors, as applicable.

The successful candidate will embody and champion the Flavorman Way, fostering a culture of accountability, innovation, collaboration, and customer-focused excellence.


Duties and Responsibilities

Commercial Strategy & Revenue Growth

  • Create and execute the Company's commercial strategy to drive profitable revenue growth and increase market share.
  • Develop commercial capabilities and organizational effectiveness across sales, marketing, and customer success functions.
  • Establish annual and long-term revenue objectives, sales targets, and key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities, strategic partnerships, and emerging market segments.
  • Design and implement customer acquisition, expansion, and retention strategies.
  • Evaluate market conditions, competitive activity, customer trends, and industry developments to identify growth opportunities.
  • Lead the commercialization and launch of new products and services in partnership with Beverage Development, Flavor, Operations, and Marketing teams.
  • Support corporate growth initiatives, including strategic partnerships, investments, joint ventures, acquisitions, and other strategic transactions.

Sales Leadership

  • Lead, mentor, and develop high-performing Sales and Customer Success teams.
  • Establish performance expectations, accountability standards, and development plans for commercial personnel.
  • Monitor sales pipeline activity, forecasting accuracy, conversion metrics, and business development initiatives.
  • Manage business forecasting to ensure appropriate sales expectations, resource planning, and organizational capacity.
  • Ensure commercial teams effectively communicate Flavorman's value proposition and capabilities.
  • Oversee customer service and account management efforts to strengthen customer loyalty and business growth.

Marketing & Brand Leadership

  • Lead the development and execution of integrated marketing strategies that support revenue growth and brand awareness.
  • Oversee advertising, digital marketing, website strategy, customer communications, lead generation initiatives, and other customer touchpoints.
  • Ensure brand messaging and customer engagement activities are aligned with Flavorman's strategic objectives.
  • Utilize customer feedback, market research, and data analytics to improve marketing effectiveness and commercial performance.
  • Evaluate campaign performance and adjust strategies based on measurable business results.

Executive Leadership & Strategic Planning

  • Collaborate closely with the President and Leadership Team to establish Company direction, priorities, and growth objectives.
  • Contribute to organizational planning, structure, succession planning, and resource allocation decisions.
  • Assist in identifying and reducing business risks and financial vulnerabilities.
  • Participate in the development of annual operating plans, budgets, and strategic initiatives.
  • Serve as a representative of Flavorman with customers, industry organizations, trade associations, and external stakeholders.
  • Contribute to the preservation and development of Flavorman's culture by embracing and modeling the Flavorman Way.

Financial Management

  • Develop and manage departmental budgets for sales, marketing, customer success, and other commercial functions.
  • Monitor commercial performance against financial objectives and implement corrective actions when necessary.
  • Analyze financial reports, market data, and key business metrics to support forecasting and strategic decision-making.
  • Ensure effective resource allocation that maximizes return on investment and profitable growth.
  • Participate in hiring, staffing, performance management, and succession planning activities across commercial teams.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 10 years of progressive executive leadership experience sales, marketing, business development, or related functions.
  • Demonstrated success in driving significant revenue growth and market expansion.
  • Experience leading multiple commercial disciplines within a growth-oriented organization.
  • Strong strategic planning, financial analysis, and forecasting capabilities.
  • Exceptional communication, relationship-building, and leadership skills.

Physical Demands and Work Environment

This is a full-time, on-site position based at the company's headquarters. The standard work schedule is Monday through Friday, from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Evening and weekend work may be required as business needs dictate. Travel may be required to support customer relationships, business development efforts, industry events, and other Company initiatives.
