Join Our Crew at Offshore Aviation Group

At Offshore Aviation Group, our mission is powered by precision, integrity, and teamwork. We support critical defense operations and take pride in operating safely, effectively, and professionally.

We are seeking a skilled Chief Engineer primarily for our 3,000 HP, 498 GT Vessel, the OAG Responder. In this critical role, you’ll ensure reliable vessel performance and operational safety

What You’ll Do

  • Plan and execute preventive maintenance and repairs for all engineering systems.
  • Diagnose and repair electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical systems.
  • Manage spare parts, consumables, and onboard inventories.
  • Oversee fuel, lube, and waste handling, ensuring MARPOL and environmental compliance.
  • Supervise Assistant Engineers
  • Coordinate shipyard periods, vendor work, and maintain class/USCG records.

Qualifications

  • MMC national officer endorsement as Chief Engineer-Limited, motor propulsion, valid for 3,000 HP or more, oceans.
  • STCW Chief Engineer Officer, management level, motor 750 kW/1,000 HP to 3,000 kW/4,000 HP, or 3,000 kW/4,000 HP and above
  • Current STCW Basic Training
  • Current STCW Advanced Firefighting
  • Current USCG Medical Certification (STCW)
  • Valid TWIC
  • US Citizenship
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. DoD Secret Security Clearance
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
