Come and join the biggest protein producer in the world. Tyson Foods Complex Green Forest is accepting applications for general labor positions. Willingness to work in any processing department and/or any available shift. Tyson Foods offers competitive wages and benefits to include but not limited to retention/referral bonuses, 9 paid holidays, vacation, 401K retirement, stock, medical insurance to include dental and vision.
Requirements:
The successful candidate(s) must be willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation
  • Willingness to work in a very cold environment.
  • Willingness to go up and down stairs.
  • Willingness to use scissors and knives to cut chicken.
  • Must be able to tolerate motion and work on a fast-moving processing line.
  • Willingness to work on a stand that is two (2) feet above floor level.
  • Willingness to stand, walk, bend, stretch, climb, push, pull, and reach.
  • Lifting is done in many areas (weight depends on area.)
  • These positions work in a cold, damp or hot, humid environment, and these areas may have slippery walking surfaces.
  • Willing to walk up and down stairs as some departments are located on the lower level.
  • Willingness to stand on and work on a plat form that is about two feet above floor level.

Hourly Pay Rate $16.55

  • Prior Employee Waiting Period: If you were previously employed at Tyson, there's a 365-day waiting period before you can reapply.
  • Number of Times Worked at Tyson: You can apply if you've worked at Tyson no more than three times.
  • Failed Drug Screen - if you had a failed drug screen, there is a 6 months waiting period.
