Job Summary

The Nightclub Server is responsible for delivering food and beverage items from the kitchen and bar to the stadium guests. In this position, the server should have an understanding of the content of the menu and ensures that food and beverage is delivered in a timely fashion. The server should understand and follow food safety and sanitation guidelines and help with the execution of area setup and breakdown.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Efficiently and accurately takes and delivers orders with a friendly and professional demeanor.
  • Ensures all food and beverage is properly delivered and/or stored.
  • Knowledgeable on all menu offerings including but not limited to domestic and imported beer, a variety of wine types and brand name spirits.
  • Follows set up and break down processes efficiently.
  • Understands all event paperwork and reports.
  • Establishes rapport with guests and understands suggestive and upselling techniques.
  • Adheres to location appearance guidelines.
  • Acts with a sense of urgency and professionalism.
  • Employs good safety and sanitation practices.
  • Follows responsible alcohol service policies.
  • Understands the importance of maintaining equipment and executes accordingly.
  • Thoroughly completes all event set-up and breakdown responsibilities within timelines provided.
  • Performs post event product inventory and restocks as needed.
  • Helps fellow employees whenever necessary.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Job Duties: 

  • Minimum one (1) year cocktail service experience in high volume cash handling setting required.
  • React with physical and mental alertness in emergency situations.
  • Move from sitting to standing position easily and quickly.
  • Be punctual, reliable and available for scheduled shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays on event basis.
  • Adapt quickly to fast-paced, high-volume environments.
  • Demonstrate physical stamina and agility required to be mobile for long periods throughout the day and stand for duration of entire shift.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain required work cards including SNHD Health Card, ServSafe Alcohol Card, Non-Gaming Card.
  • Ability to effectively communicate in English in written and oral form.
  • Ability to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch and bend.
  • Lift, push pull up to 50 lbs.
