$500 CONTRACT COMPLETION BONUS
Opportunity:
RN - ICU
Job Details:
• 12-hour shifts available on days (7:00 AM to 7:00 PM) or nights (7:00 PM to 7:00 AM)
• Weekend rotation every third weekend, with potential to be pulled off weekends to support weekday staffing needs
• Every other holiday expected
• No on-call responsibilities
• Minimum 2 years of experience required
• First-time travelers accepted for day shift; night shift prefers travel experience but will consider candidates with several years of experience
• Care for general ICU, stroke, sepsis, pneumonia, post-surgical, and CRRT patients; no ECMO
• Patient ratios of 1:2, up to 1:3 for stepdown-level patients
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS
• Must have experience with arterial lines, cardiac and critical drips, ventilators, BiPAPs, tracheostomies, and code response
• Charting system: Epic EMR
• IV pumps: Alaris; medication dispensing: Pyxis
• May float to holding area with ICU patients or potentially to Kenosha; will only float to ICU-level care
• Unit support includes 1-2 CNAs depending on census, charge nurse with reduced patient assignment, phlebotomy, IV/VAT team, respiratory therapy, 24/7 hospitalist, intensivist on site 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM seven days a week, EICU coverage 24/7, and OT/PT/ST services
• Orientation includes NEO and 2 twelve-hour shifts of unit orientation
• Scrub color: Navy blue
• Free parking available

This facility is a 60-bed Level 3 Trauma center featuring a 12-bed ICU equipped to handle a wide range of critical care needs. The unit is supported by a robust clinical team including hospitalists available 24/7, an on-site intensivist, and around-the-clock EICU coverage. The facility utilizes modern technology and equipment to deliver high-quality patient care in a well-supported critical care environment.
