Job description


Glen Ellyn District 41 is Seeking Chess Club Sponsor Group III

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop training programs to improve endurance and performance.
  • Foster a positive and supportive team environment.
  • Monitor and support the academic progress of student-athletes.
  • Ensure the safety and well-being of all team members.
  • Communicate effectively with parents, school administration, and the Athletic Director.
  • Attend all matches and provide guidance during competitions.

Qualifications:

  • Previous coaching experience in chess, preferably at the junior high level.
  • Strong knowledge of chess techniques.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to inspire and mentor young chess players.
