Job description

Finished Goods Clerk

We are hiring a Finished Goods Clerk to join our Finished Goods team! Discover if you enjoy working in a fast-paced warehouse. We are looking for an individual who will safely and accurately pull and pack parts from racks and place them in the staging area for packing and shipping. This position requires physically maneuvering heavy items on a continuous basis. You will manually pull and pack parts for shipments and identify hazardous and non-hazardous materials.

Your Ripple Effect

  • Can you quickly and accurately prepare orders? This position will rotate between the following duties: pull and pack parts for shipment, receive and stock parts into various locations using a forklift, and assist with questions about inventory and back-order availability.
  • Do you like to stay active? You'll review received orders, pull the appropriate parts from a rack, load into a bin and place orders in the staging area for packing and shipping while verifying accurate quantity and part number.
  • Are you detail oriented? Can you identify Hazardous Materials markings and label appropriately as required by regulated shipping standards?
  • Are you quality driven? You will be responsible for conducting daily cycle counts of inventory and for shipping domestic/international orders according to specifications, as well as ensuring the Finished Goods area is clean and organized.

What You Bring

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred.
  • At least 6 months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Must have prior experience operating a Cherry Picker/Order Picker.
  • Forklift certification preferred.
  • Ability to frequently lift up to 50lbs. and 75lbs. on occasion.
  • Basic Hazardous Materials knowledge is preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact with all levels within the organization as well as a strong ability to work in a team environment are required to be successful in this position.
