Workflow/Financial Data Analyst
A Workflow/Financial Data Analyst assists in financial analysis, reporting, and forecasting, supporting senior analysts and managers in making strategic financial decisions within the organization.
Compensation & Benefits:
Estimated Starting Salary Range for Workflow/Financial Data Analyst: $60,000 to $65,000.
Pay commensurate with experience.
Full time benefits include Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K, and other possible benefits as provided. Benefits are subject to change with or without notice.
Workflow/Financial Data Analyst Responsibilities Include:
  • Management of SharePoint Sites
  • Development of weekly announcements using PDF form
  • Data entry and analysis
  • Trend Analysis
  • Interact with government personnel.
  • Forecasting potential funding impacts
  • Draft formal memos
  • Validate project data and perform updates in various government systems including but not limited, NexGen IT, FM Suite and Microsoft Access
  • Manage Microsoft Outlook Workflow
  • Conducting financial analysis to support strategic decision-making, including variance analysis, trend analysis, and forecasting.
  • Preparing financial reports, presentations, and dashboards for management review.
  • Assisting in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes.
  • Evaluating investment opportunities and conducting ROI analysis.
  • Providing insights and recommendations based on financial analysis to optimize business performance.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to gather financial data and support business initiatives.
  • Adhering to financial regulations, policies, and procedures.
  • Assisting in the development and implementation of process improvements within the finance department.
  • Supporting senior financial analysts and managers in various financial activities.
  • Assisting with ad hoc financial projects and tasks as needed.
  • Performs other job-related duties as assigned.

Workflow/Financial Data Analyst Experience, Education, Skills, Abilities requested:
  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics, or a related field.
  • 3 years' experience in data management/analysis
  • 6 years' related work experience may be substituted for a Bachelor's Degree
  • 4 years' related work experience and an Associate's Degree may be substituted for a Bachelor's
  • Experience must be in construction-related discipline.
  • Experience with the AF Design and Construction Program desired.
  • Experience with government automated systems including NexGen IT and FM Suite, is desired.
  • Experience with SharePoint
  • Ability to multi-task is a must.
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing
  • Basic understanding of Programming Thresholds and Approval Authorities
  • Basic understanding of Planning & Design and Operation & Maintenance funding
  • Basic understanding of Contract Acquisition process
  • Knowledge with Microsoft suite, highly proficient in Excel, Access, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Knowledge in Adobe Acrobat including form development and maintenance.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent quantitative and numerical skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other financial software.
  • Ability to analyze complex financial data and derive actionable insights.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting and analysis.
  • Ability to work with large datasets and perform quantitative analysis.
  • Must pass pre-employment qualifications of Cherokee Federal
