City Produce is proud to be the local wholesale produce supplier in the Florida Panhandle, delivering fresh fruits and vegetables, dairy and specialty items to a vast assortment of foodservice establishments including restaurants, hotels, schools, hospitals and healthcare institutions, caterers and more. We directly source and supply our customers with the freshest and highest quality items available on the market.

City Produce is recruiting Sales Associate to come join our family. We are a company that can offer you benefits and longevity with job security. The Inside Sales Associate position is responsible for receiving incoming orders for customers, answering inquiries and questions, troubleshooting issues, conducting follow-up customer calls, completing call logs, presenting new or additional featured products to customers by recognizing opportunities to up-sell accounts. The Inside Sales Associate position must align with the core values of both FreshEdge and City Produce โ€“ customer-obsessed, passionate, relational, innovative, real, and ethical.

Essential Functions:

  • Perform sanitation duties for the warehouse and office spaces, including sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, dusting, and vacuuming
  • Collect and dispose of waste and recycling materials properly
  • Follow procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and power equipment
  • Check and notify management of pest issues
  • Assist in chemical supply inventory
  • Notify any safety hazards or maintenance issues to Management
  • Complete and maintain required cleaning logs and records accurately and promptly
  • Perform work in accordance with established SSOPโ€™s (Sanitation Standard Operating Procedures)
  • Regularly inspect outdoor areas and remove weeds from flower beds, walkways, parking lots, and other landscaped areas to maintain a clean and tidy appearance.
  • Collect and remove trash debris from assigned areas, including workspaces, break rooms, parking lots, and outdoor grounds.

** Education & Experience and Competencies:**

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (particularly Excel), and common E Mail systems
  • 1 โ€“ 2 years of experience in sanitation, janitorial, or cleaning roles within industrial, manufacturing, or food processing settings
  • Familiar with Food Safety procedures
  • Working knowledge of cleaning chemicals

** Work Schedule:**

  • Day Shift: 7:00am โ€“ 3:00pm
  • Monday - Friday

** Compensation:**

  • $16.00/hour

** Physical Demands:**

  • Work in cold and wet cooler conditions for short periods of time
  • Occasionally lift up to 15 lbs
  • Stand or sit for long periods of time
  • Repetitive bending and use of arms, legs, etc.
