Job Description:
Responsibilities
* Accurately performs most chemical manufacturing functions as needed while working under limited supervision of senior operators.
* Complete priorities in relation to defined schedules to manufacture high performance aerospace materials to prescribed standards and specifications.
* Monitor complex chemical reactions/operations under supervision of senior operators.
* Participate in 5 S activities.
* Comply with Health, Safety, and Environmental requirements at all times.
* Facilitate the chemical process, including adding reactants to raw materials and overseeing all steps of the reactions
* Perform tests on the final product
* Make any necessary adjustments to equipment
* Use a forklift to move drums and pallets
* Meet quality standards without delaying production
* Maintain a clean and safe workplace
Education and Experience
* High school diploma / GED
* Prior experience with chemical production processes or in a manufacturing environment (strongly preferred)
* HazMat certification (preferred)
* 1-2 years of related experience
Skills and Knowledge

* Basic math, reading, and computer skills
