This includes supporting equipment turnover from construction, assisting with startup and functional testing, adjusting systems manually and through computer controls, responding to alarms, and documenting operational activities. You'll perform inspections, support procedure development, assist with select maintenance activities, and help ensure all operations meet safety, quality, security, and regulatory requirements-all while keeping systems running reliably across normal, off-normal, and emergency conditions.

We'd Love to Hear from People With:

  • An Associate of Science in Engineering or Physical Sciences,
OR completion of the U.S. Naval Nuclear Propulsion Program,
OR equivalent technical experience with a high school diploma/GED.
  • 3 or more years of plant operator experience within the last eight years in:
  • Chemical, nuclear, or power-generation industries
  • Critical infrastructure operations
  • Or similar technical military experience
  • The capability to work in required PPE (respirators, anti-Cs, electrical gear, etc.).
  • The ability to obtain and maintain a Q-level security clearance

A Successful Candidate Brings:

  • Hands-on experience with equipment startup, system testing, and operational troubleshooting
  • Comfort responding to alarms and operating under structured safety and emergency procedures
  • A disciplined, safety-first mindset in radiological, chemical, and industrial environments
  • Already maintains a Q-level security clearance
