RED Digital Cinema is seeking a Chemical Regulatory Manager who will be responsible for ensuring compliance with global chemical regulations and Chemical Management Systems (CMS). This role oversees regulatory strategy, product compliance, hazard communication, and chemical risk management to ensure adherence to applicable local, regional, and international regulations. The position partners cross-functionally with R&D, Quality, Supply Chain, and Manufacturing to support product development, market access, and ongoing regulatory compliance.


Key Responsibilities include:

Regulatory Compliance & Strategy

  • Develop and implement chemical regulatory strategies to ensure compliance with global chemical regulations (e.g., REACH, TSCA, RoHS, Prop 65, etc.)
  • Monitor regulatory changes and assess impact on products and operations
  • Lead chemical registration, notification, and reporting activities across relevant jurisdictions
  • Maintain regulatory documentation and compliance records

Chemical Management System (CMS) Oversight

  • Develop, maintain, and continuously improve the companyโ€™s Chemical Management System
  • Ensure proper classification, labeling, and Safety Data Sheet (SDS) management
  • Support internal audits and regulatory inspections

Product Stewardship

  • Conduct chemical risk assessments and hazard evaluation
  • Collaborate with R&D during product development to ensure regulatory compliance
  • Evaluate raw materials and supplier documentation for compliance risk
  • Provide regulatory guidance on product changes and new formulations
  • Managing EPR compliance for WEEE/EEE (e-waste), batteries, packaging, and other international environmental obligations

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Partner with internal teams to ensure regulatory alignment
  • Support customer and supplier regulatory inquiries
  • Train internal stakeholders on chemical regulatory requirements
  • Serve as primary contact for regulatory authorities as needed

Documentation & Reporting

  • Prepare and submit regulatory filings and reports
  • Ensure accurate hazard communication (labels, SDS, technical documentation)
  • Maintain compliance databases and reporting tools


Qualifications

Education

  • Bachelorโ€™s degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Environmental Science, Regulatory Affairs, or related field

Experience

  • 10+ years of experience in chemical regulatory affairs or compliance
  • Strong knowledge of global chemical regulations
  • Experience managing chemical registrations and regulatory submissions
  • Experience with chemical compliance software or CMS platforms
