We are seeking a motivated, qualified individual to join our company as a Chemical Loader who will play a crucial role in the efficient and safe operation of our chemical distribution warehouse. This position will be responsible for loading and unloading bulk trailers and loading totes and drums with various chemicals and products. All work will be performed in accordance with applicable guidelines, Company safety procedures, and OSHA regulations.
Work Schedule: 07:00 AM - 5:30 PM, Monday thru Friday with occasional Saturday work as business demands.
Duties & Responsibilities

  • Load and unload bulk trailers, load totes and drums with chemicals and / or products per customer orders
  • Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, lifts, and other machinery
  • Maintain equipment in optimal working order and perform regular maintenance to maximize production
  • Conduct inspections to verify the integrity of containers, labels, and shipping documentation to ensure that all products meet quality standards
  • Communicate any discrepancies or shortages to direct manager
  • Perform general labor tasks and general warehouse maintenance
  • Partner and coordinate with team members, internal departments, and leadership to ensure timely completion of orders
  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment; observe all safety and security procedures, and report unsafe conditions
  • Use Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as required
  • ctively participate in continuous improvement initiatives to promote safety awareness and environmental consciousness
  • dhere to all safety protocols and procedures for the handling, storage, and transportation of chemicals, ensuring the well-being of yourself, coworkers, and the environment

Requirements
  • High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
  • Prior experience in a chemical distribution warehouse or related industry
  • Experience operating a forklift and other material handling equipment required
  • Basic reading and writing skills
  • Must be able to meet criteria for safety sensitive functions according to Company standards
  • Valid TWIC Card required
