Location: 10 Harmich Road, South Plainfield, NJ 07080
THIS IS AN INDUSTRIAL CHEMISTRY POSITION involving chemical analysis of nitrates, perchlorates, chlorates, oxalates, and related compounds. THIS POSITION IS NOT RELATED TO BIOLOGY, CLINICAL, OR MEDICAL LABORATORY WORK.

MUST HAVE A CHEMISTRY BACKGROUND (NOT BIOLOGY). ENTRY-LEVEL TO MID-LEVEL CANDIDATES ONLY.

Overview
The Chemical Laboratory Technician performs systematic testing of chemical samples throughout production — from initial receipt, during processing, and prior to shipment. The role requires strong attention to detail, solid mathematical skills, familiarity with inorganic and organic chemistry, and strong written and verbal communication skills.
This position supports production and quality control through accurate testing, documentation, and communication with management and production teams. Candidates must be self-starters with strong problem-solving abilities.
This is an industrial chemistry position and not related to biology, clinical, or medical laboratory work.

Primary Responsibilities
  •  Conduct testing on chemical samples at various stages of production. 
  •  Record and analyze data with clear written documentation. 
  •  Follow established laboratory procedures and protocols. 
  •  Perform calculations and verify analytical results. 
  •  Communicate results with production and management teams. 
  •  Maintain organized records and laboratory workflow. 
Working Hours
  •  Monday – Friday 
  •  7:00 AM – 3:30 PM 
  •  8-hour shifts 
Requirements
  •  In-person attendance required.

  •  Understanding of inorganic and organic chemistry principles.
