About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Chemical Engineer to support the development, implementation, and optimization of advanced coating technologies within a highly technical manufacturing environment. The successful candidate will collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams, manufacturing operations, and program stakeholders to ensure the successful transition of coating technologies into production applications.
This position offers the opportunity to work on critical projects involving engine safety, production support, new technology development, repair processes, cost reduction initiatives, and continuous improvement of engineering standards and manufacturing practices.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, Applied Physics, or a related technical discipline.
  • Minimum of 8 years of relevant engineering experience.
  • Demonstrated experience with coating technologies and coating process development.
  • Fundamental understanding of aerospace coating application methods.
  • Experience with process optimization tools and continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Strong technical problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience preparing technical reports and presenting engineering findings.
  • Ability to work effectively in cross-functional engineering and manufacturing teams.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Aerospace manufacturing experience.
  • Experience supporting turbine engines, propulsion systems, or advanced aerospace components.
  • Knowledge of thermal spray, diffusion coatings, vapor deposition, or other advanced coating technologies.
