Job description


As a Chemical Process Engineer I here at Solstice Advanced Materials, you will be responsible for supporting the safe, efficient, and reliable operation of manufacturing and chemical processes. This position works closely with operations, maintenance, quality, and environmental health and safety teams to optimize process performance, improve product quality, reduce costs, and support continuous improvement initiatives.
You will work out of our Geismar, LA facility and will report to the Sr ISC Operations Manager.
Responsibilities
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Monitor and evaluate process performance using production and quality data
  • Identify opportunities to improve process efficiency, throughput, yield, and reliability
  • Provide day-to-day technical support to production operations
  • Investigate process interruptions, quality deviations, and equipment performance issues
  • Support Lean, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Promote a strong safety culture and ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations
  • Participate in capital and expense projects related to process improvements
  • Prepare technical reports, process documentation, and operating procedures

Qualifications
YOU MUST HAVE
  • Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering from an accredited university

COMPENSATION
The annual base salary range for this position is $84,423-$105,470. Please note that this salary information serves as a general guideline. Solstice Advanced Materials considers various factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to the scope and responsibilities or the position, the candidate's work experience, education and training, key skills, as well as market and business considerations.
