What we're looking for:
As a Senior Account Manager for Indovinya's Crop Solutions market, you will be accountable for driving profitable growth across a portfolio of strategic customers while expanding Indorama's market presence through the development of new business opportunities within and beyond assigned core accounts.
You will manage all day-to-day account responsibilities (support/follow up on quotations, relationships, pipeline of opportunities, call reports, account plans, etc.) for the assigned customers. This role serves as the primary commercial interface between customers and internal teams, translating application needs into value-based solutions.
This role works cross-functionally with technical, product management, engineering, and marketing to expand market presence, develop strategic accounts, and grow segment sales. The Sr. Account Manager will explore new opportunities within and beyond core customers. They will manage all day-to-day account responsibilities (pipeline of opportunities, call reports, account plans, etc.) for assigned customers. This role reports to the Crop Solutions Commercial Manager.
Responsibilities:
With limited supervision and much decision-making:
  • Proactively develop new accounts through a strong "hunter" mindset, expanding Indorama's presence within the Crop Solutions market.
  • Support or Lead Global Accounts, when applicable, by contributing to global account strategies, coordinating regional inputs, and ensuring alignment between customer expectations and Indorama's commercial and technical capabilities across regions.
  • Translate organizational, segment and customer priorities into robust Account Plans, ensuring alignment with strategic guidance and clear communication across internal stakeholders.
  • Lead commercial negotiations, including pricing, terms and conditions, and sales agreements or contracts, in alignment with company policies and profitability targets.
  • Develop an in-depth knowledge of the client's objectives, strategies, technologies, operations to connect the customer needs with Indorama's Crop Solutions strategy
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships across multiple customer functions and levels, including but not limited to commercial, marketing, R&D, and operations.
  • Provide service recognized as valuable by the accounts in terms of Negotiation / Technical Service & Development (TS&D) / Commercial / Innovation / Quality / Project management and implementation.
  • Identify, quantify, and lead the execution of new business opportunities and projects within existing accounts, ensuring timely and successful delivery.
  • Collaborate effectively with cross-functional regional and global teams, contributing to shared objectives and supporting the achievement of Indorama's overall business goals.
  • Submit and update forecasted demand to enable fulfillment by Manufacturing and Supply Chain teams
  • Troubleshoot problems regarding products, provide answers to customers' questions, and handle complaints to ensure high customer satisfaction.
  • Represent Indorama at key crop solutions conferences and trade shows, such as ASTM, Chemicals America Symposium, CPDA, and others as required.
  • Offer support to finance team on credit analysis and on time invoice payments.
  • Participate in Environmental, Health, & Safety initiatives as set forth by the company. Participate in and complete company required training programs.
  • Perform other job-related duties and responsibilities as may be assigned from time to time (as needed).

Education and Experience:
  • MUST HAVE Technical or science degree such as Bachelors in Chemical Engineering or Chemistry.

Preference to candidates with an MBA as well.
  • MUST HAVE 10+ years' experience in sales, marketing or business development in the Crop Solutions market. Preference to candidates with experience in the US Crop Protection & Tank Mix adjuvants markets
  • MUST BE willing to travel up to 50%
  • MUST HAVE The ability to sell in a wide variety of markets and to build relationships at target accounts with demonstrated results
  • MUST HAVE High level of organization, to balance multiple activities (customer visits, reporting, training, and forecasting)
  • MUST HAVE Excellent verbal and written communication, presentation, interpersonal, and negotiation skills
  • Crop Solutions specific knowledge: products, applications, customers and competitors.
  • Experience and Knowledge of the Surfactants Market
  • Solid knowledge and relationship network with key Agrochemicals & Adjuvants formulation companies
  • Effectiveness at working in a global matrix team environment and experience in managing global accounts
  • Thorough knowledge of the MS Office Suite: Outlook, Excel, Word & Power Point and use of AI
  • Ability to work independently while coordinating activities with a variety of large teams
  • Fluent in English (Mandatory). Multilingual skills are a plus
  • Excellent communication and cross-cultural awareness skills
