Chemical Applicator

Deliver outstanding customer service, as defined by the customer and account managers regarding chemical applications. Responsible for the application of pesticides within residential or business areas to lawns, ornamental trees and shrubs, park areas, and other recreational areas. Responsibilities may include snow removal services in the winter season.


RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Delivering chemical applications according to Engledow quality standards.
  • Contribute to and support others in establishing a positive work environment by tackling issues and maintaining honest, meaningful dialogue.
  • Maintain steady communication with Chemical Application Team. ย Make recommendations for chemical applications.
  • Strive with others for the efficient utilization of resources and coordination of activities on clients' sites.
  • Keep current with new chemical regulations and OSHA standards in regard to chemicals. Follow all laws, regulations and certification requirements.ย 
  • Complete necessary paperwork for notification to client at time of service.
  • Complete necessary time sheet entry and tracking of materials for billing purposes.
  • Provide assigned winter services per the instruction of the Winter Services Manager. ย 

Requirements

SKILL

  • Knowledge and staying up to date of MSDS and chemical uses.
  • Ability to communicate well in both written and verbal formats.
  • Must be service oriented to meet/exceed customers' needs.
  • Must have the ability to adapt to change quickly and efficiently.
  • Must be able to work independently in an efficient and organized manner.
  • Ability to deal with multiple problems simultaneously and prioritize solutions
  • Knowledge of the landscape industry and chemical applications.
  • Ability to identify pest problems and to preform preventative chemical applications.
  • Identify different pest issues and apply correct/specific chemicals.
  • Knowledge of application timing.


Must a valid drivers license and be able to adhere to a background screen.
