Portland personal chef role. In-home weekly services and catering events. High standards, flexible schedule, flat-rate pay. Apply now.

LiveGreensPDX is a private chef and catering company serving clients across the Portland and Vancouver area. We are growing and looking for one strong chef to join the team.

The Role

You will execute weekly in-home personal chef services for private clients, typically 3 to 4 hours per visit. You will also work catering events as they come in, primarily evenings and weekends. This is not a restaurant job. You work independently, represent the brand in client homes, and are expected to show up prepared and professional every time.

What This Requires

  • 3+ years of professional kitchen experience. Personal chef or private dining experience is a strong plus.
  • Reliable transportation and Oregon or Washington food handler certification
  • Ability to work alone, manage your time, and execute without being micromanaged
  • Comfort with dietary restrictions including gluten-free, vegan, and allergen-sensitive menus
  • Photo and video documentation at every service - this is non-negotiable
  • Slack communication and accurate hour tracking
  • SOP compliance. We have systems. You follow them.

Compensation

Flat rate per client per week. Flat rate per catering event. Rates scale with event size. We are transparent about numbers from the first conversation. Pay is biweekly.
