Company Overview
Olivetta celebrates the recipes and styles of preparation which span the coasts of the Mediterranean Basin (Italy, France, Spain, and Greece). Drawing inspiration from these regions, Executive Chef Michael Fiorelli has reimagined coastal classics to create contemporary dishes that encompass the spirit of being on holiday in Europe while taking full advantage of seasonal ingredients found at home in Southern California.
We are seeking hospitality industry professionals with experience working in upscale, fine dining establishments.

Duties& Responsibilities:

1.Effectively loadsand operates the dish washing machines.Hand washes pots, pans and other items in accordance with the standardsof sanitation and cleanliness.

2.Thoroughly cleansdish machine by emptying tanks and filling tanks. Ensures that curtains are set up. Empties grease traps and barrels. Checks rinse agent and detergent and fills asnecessary. Promptly notifies Supervisorof any irregularities with the machine.

3.Thoroughly cleansand empties disposal drains regularly.

4.Keeps dishcleaning area and floor clean and free from debris.

5.Empties all trashin kitchen area and employee cafeteria.

6.Correctlyseparates recyclable items into proper cardboard and bottles/plasticcontainers.

7.Maintains busstations in assigned areas. Ensures thatareas have soiled silverware containers, bus buckets and empty garbage cans.

8.Correctly placessoiled dishes on racks in dish cleaning machine. Separates silverware for cleaning. Always washes silverware twice.

9.Always stacksclean dishes in proper storage area.

10.Ensures that potsink area is clean and free from debris.Makes sure that pots are kept inverted and put in proper specificstorage area. Complies with allapplicable health standards.

11.Uses chemicals inproper areas and in correct concentrations.

Minimum Qualifications:

1.Must possess aHigh School Diploma/GED.

2.Must possessreading ability; schedules, MSDS, complete forms, etc.

3.Ability to besafety oriented.

4.Must be able tooperate a dishwashing machine and floor machines.

5.Must be able tolift up to 35lbs.

6.Must be able tospeak and understand English; interact with guests and co-workers.

7.Must possesswritten communication skills; standard forms, etc.

8.Must be able towork in extreme temperatures; 0 to 110 degrees.

9.Must be able towork under extreme noise.

10.Must be able tostand for long periods of time.

11.Ability to workin a fast paced environment.

12.Ability toaccommodate a flexible work schedule to include nights, holidays and weekends.
