Our client, one of the fastest growing CPA Firms in Michigan, is looking to add to their growing team. If you have a passion for public accounting and seeking a client focused firm, this is a firm to consider. They are seeking a high-energy, driven Senior Tax Manager.
Requirements of the Senior Tax Manager:
  • Bachelor s degree in accounting or equivalent; Master s degree in Taxation is a plus.
  • CPA certification required.
  • 8+ years of tax experience in public accounting or industry.
  • Experience in corporate, flow-through entity, and individual federal and state taxation.
  • Strong research skills, including interpreting laws and regulations.
  • Ability to compose written tax advice.
  • Experience in strategic planning for clients.
  • Supervisory and training experience, with the ability to work in a team environment.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office products and Adobe Acrobat.
  • Familiarity with tax research databases and planning tools (e.g., CCH, Checkpoint, BNA).
  • Proficiency in tax compliance software (e.g., Axcess Tax).

Responsibilities of the Senior Tax Manager:
