Job description

Position: Tax Manager -
100% Remote within the US and would love Big 4 background if possible
Salary: $90k to $150k depending on experience and qualifications
Schedule: Monday to Friday and REMOTE, Work from home
Location: Tempe, Arizona - close to the airport
As a Tax Manager, you will provide guidance on the tax implications of business investments and transactions, oversee client engagements, and develop and implement tax-efficient structures for US investments. You will direct and assist in the compliance aspects of US tax for corporations, partnerships, LLCs, S-Corps, and individuals. Ensure tax filings comply with standards regarding property investments, income, and allocations. Provide technical tax expertise regarding rax-efficient structures and planning. Research and manage complex tax planning and compliance. Respond to inquiries from regulatory authorities, and work closely with senior management in mentoring, supervising, and evaluating staff..
Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor degree in accounting required
  • CPA license required
  • 5-10 years tax experience including tax planning, compliance, and preparation
  • 1+ years of management experience
  • Thorough knowledge of the tax impact of various investments on individuals and their businesses
  • Ability to manage multiple clients and firm responsibilities simultaneously
  • Strong organizational, time management and follow through skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Integrity, dependability, and trustworthiness

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Masters degree in Taxation or Accountancy
