Job Description

Summary

Bose is looking to add a Domestic Senior Tax Accountant to the Corporate Tax team. This position will assist with all facets of US federal and state income tax calculations and reporting.

Key Job Responsibilities

  • Assist in the preparation of the worldwide annual tax provision, including supporting documentation for the US federal and state tax provisions, analysis of uncertain tax positions, review of the tax account reconciliations, and journal entries
  • Prepare federal and state return-to-provision calculations
  • Assist in the preparation of the federal and state cash tax forecasts
  • Prepare and file federal and state corporate income tax returns, including book-to-tax adjustments, related documentation, and return proformas
  • Calculate and file federal and state income tax extensions and quarterly estimated tax payments
  • Assist in the documentation and review of federal and state research and experimentation tax credits
  • Assist in the documentation and review of the federal and state fixed asset tax depreciation calculations
  • Assist in the review and tracking of US income tax notices and audits
  • Demonstrates a working knowledge of tax law including the ability to perform tax research and to prepare technical memorandums, as required
  • Assist in the integration of US entities for restructuring activity, as needed
  • Other tasks or special projects as requested

Professional Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience working in a corporate tax function or public accounting firm preparing corporate income tax returns and tax provisions
  • Working knowledge of ASC 740 as it relates to multinational corporations
  • Working knowledge of Federal corporate tax law
  • Working knowledge of OneSource Income Tax and Tax Provision software
  • Experience in leveraging technology to create more efficient tax processes
