Job description

Job Title

Greet patients and visitors in a professional and compassionate manner.

Respond to inquiries, provide information, and handle patient concerns or complaints

Facilitate the check-in and check-out process for patients.

Adhere to healthcare regulations, including HIPAA, to ensure patient privacy and confidentiality.

Schedule and confirm follow up appointments. Schedule any additional testing required besides initial appointment.

Assist with data entry and maintain office supplies.

Uses an EMR system for scheduling and other needed tasks, such as billing.

Responsible for ensuring complete and accurate daily documentation is uploaded.

Maintain accurate and confidential electronic health records (EHR) for each patient.

Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Previous experience in a receptionist or customer service role is desirable.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Proficiency in using office equipment and computer software

Experience with EMR system

Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities

Attention to detail

Multi-tasking
