Position Summary

We are seeking an organized and customer-focused Front Office Receptionist to oversee the daily operations of the front office at our ENT and Allergy private practice. The Front Office Receptionist will be responsible for ensuring excellent patient service, and maintaining efficient office operations. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee and manage the daily operations of the front office, including patient check-in and check-out, appointment scheduling, and handling patient inquiries.
  • Supervise, train, and mentor front office staff, ensuring high levels of customer service and professionalism.
  • Coordinate with medical and administrative staff to streamline patient flow and optimize office efficiency.
  • Monitor and maintain the cleanliness and organization of the front office area.
  • Handle patient concerns and complaints, providing appropriate resolutions and escalating issues as necessary.
  • Ensure compliance with all practice policies and procedures, including HIPAA regulations and patient confidentiality.
  • Manage the front office schedule, including staff assignments, breaks, and coverage.
  • Assist with billing and insurance verification processes as needed.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and documentation.
  • Collaborate with the Practice Manager to implement process improvements and enhance patient satisfaction.
  • Prepare and provide regular reports on front office activities, including patient volume, wait times, and other key metrics.
