Job description

Part greeter, part historian, all trolley enthusiast! As a trolley platform agent, you'll be the friendly face visitors see as they approach the Issaquah Valley Trolley, anticipating the fun and excitement of their 20-minute ride aboard our 101-year-old machine.

Join our trolley volunteer squad on the platform during trolley runs to help visitors purchase and use their tickets to board the Issaquah Valley Trolley. Responsibilities may include:

  • Sharing real-time information on ticket availability
  • Providing in-the-moment support to trolley riders struggling with their online ticket sales
  • Checking in guests using the Wix check-in app and issuing paper boarding passes
  • Directing walk-up riders to our QR codes to buy tickets
  • Using your judgment on when to issue refunds, vouchers, or otherwise compensating guests

New volunteers and existing volunteers are both welcome. Experience with event ticketing, mobile check-in apps, or a similar function is a plus, but not required.

You choose your shifts: Options are Saturdays and Sundays, with shifts from 10:30am 2:30pm.
