Job description

Universal Travel Concierge is seeking a reliable, professional, and experienced Chauffeur to provide high-quality transportation services to our clients in the luxury travel and concierge industry. The Chauffeur will be responsible for ensuring safe, comfortable, discreet, and timely transportation while maintaining the highest standards of professionalism and customer service.

This position will involve working closely with clients, concierge staff, drivers, and professional security details. The ideal candidate must be comfortable operating in a coordinated security environment, following instructions, adjusting to schedule changes, and maintaining complete discretion regarding client movements, destinations, and personal information.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide safe, reliable, and prompt transportation for clients
  • Maintain the cleanliness, presentation, and operational condition of assigned vehicles
  • Plan and follow efficient routes while monitoring traffic conditions and potential delays
  • Assist clients with luggage, doors, and other reasonable requests as needed
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, dispatchers, concierge staff, and security personnel
  • Coordinate and work professionally alongside security details and other vehicles when required
  • Follow transportation schedules, itineraries, and instructions while remaining flexible when plans change
  • Adhere to all traffic laws, safety procedures, and company standards
  • Maintain strict client confidentiality and discretion at all times
  • Provide a professional, courteous, and client-focused experience throughout every journey

Requirements

Minimum Qualifications  

  • Proficiency in English is required 
  • Must possess a valid driver's license and maintain a safe driving record 
  • Must demonstrate strong driving skills and knowledge of local roads, highways, airports, hotels, restaurants, and major destinations 
  • Must be punctual, dependable, well-groomed, and professional 
  • Must be comfortable working alongside security personnel and following coordinated transportation and security procedures 
  • Strong commitment to client privacy, safety, and exceptional service 

Preferred Qualifications 

  • Bilingual proficiency (English and Spanish) is a plus 
  • Previous EMR, EMS, law enforcement, police, military, security, or executive protection experience 
  • Experience in luxury transportation, hospitality, travel, or high-level client service is preferred 

Benefits

  • $18-$20 per hour, based on experience and qualifications 
  • *Part-time employment contract (30-35 hours per week) with overtime pay 
  • Core hours are between either 8:00 AM and 6:00 PM or 5:00 PM and 2:00 AM, Monday through Friday, with weekend availability required based on client demand 
  • Work schedules are generally provided one week in advance. However, adjustments may be made 24-48 hours in advance based on operational and client needsÂ
