Principal Accountabilities:

Perform assigned lead activities
Operate equipment and technology tools throughout the production facility, backfilling prior areas as needed, utilizing a broad understanding of varied and multi-dimensional processes to perform required duties
Support others in learning operating procedures, provide input to peers and recommend changes to ensure clarity and effectiveness of guidance, including procedure documentation
Perform maintenance and lead troubleshooting efforts throughout the facility, making adjustments or instructing others necessary
Ensure recording of production and inventory activities by the team is entered into computerized systems
Operate mobile powered equipment (i.e forklift, skid loader, sit down floor sweeper, front end loader)
Understand and ensure adherence to all safety policies and procedures, maintain a safe and clean work environment and control work pace and progress on assigned equipment and processes, requiring awareness of links with other process areas
Other duties as assigned


Required Qualifications:

Must be legally entitled to work for Cargill in Canada
Must be 18 years or older
Ability to perform physical job duties which may include bending, lifting up to 50 lbs, kneeling, climbing, crawling, and twisting safely, with or without a reasonable accommodation.
Ability to work in varied indoor and outdoor conditions which may include heat, cold, dust, loud noise, etc., with the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), including a respirator
Ability to work in elevated areas (4 feet and above)
Ability to operate machinery or industrial equipment
Ability to understand and communicate in English (verbal/written)
Ability to work overtime including weekends, holidays, or different shifts with advanced notice
May require a valid Canadian full class 5 drivers licence in good standing, authorizing you to drive independently during your employment



Preferred Qualifications:

Forklift experience
Basic computer skills
High School diploma or GED equivalent
5+ years of production experience within a grain elevator environment.
