Scenic Group is looking to hire an Account Executive, Charter Sales to join our team at our Hollywood, FL corporate location.
Position Summary
The Account Executive, Charter Sales supports the development and conversion of full ship charter opportunities across Scenic Group brands, including ocean yachts, expedition yachts, and river vessels.
This role partners with travel advisors, incentive houses, meeting and event planners, and direct corporate clients to qualify opportunities, develop tailored charter proposals, coordinate site inspections, and support the preparation of charter agreements.
The Account Executive, Charter Sales plays a key role in delivering a high-touch, client experience while supporting revenue growth and ensuring all opportunities align with Scenic Group commercial, operational, and brand standards.
Responsibilities
Sales Support & Client Development
  • Pre-qualify leads from Travel Partners, Incentive Houses, Meeting & Event Planners, and Direct Corporate Clients
  • Conduct client discovery to understand program objectives, audience profile, budget parameters, destination goals, and operational requirements
  • Support preparation of tailored charter proposals that position Scenic Group products as the preferred solution through strong value articulation and consultative selling
  • Partner with the Senior Director to follow up on all proposals, address client questions, refine scope, and guide opportunities toward contract execution
  • Assist clients with marketing and promotional requests, including images, videos, and sales materials
  • Coordinate with charter clients and internal teams to confirm site inspection (planning voyage) requests
  • Support the preparation of charter agreements and related documentation
  • Provide coverage and support for the Senior Director during travel or peak periods
  • Represent Scenic Group at trade shows, client events, and industry functions as needed (approximately 5-10% travel)
Communication & Reporting
  • Partner with the Senior Director to maintain accurate pipeline tracking, forecasting, and opportunity status updates in internal systems (Power BI and HubSpot)
  • Ensure all client communications, proposals, and internal updates are timely, accurate, and professionally presented
Additional Responsibilities
  • Stay informed on market trends, competitive positioning, and developments within the incentive travel and charter sectors
  • Perform other related duties as assigned by the Senior Director or leadership team
Qualifications & Experience
  • 3-5 years of experience in cruise, charter, group, or incentive travel sales or sales support preferred
  • Strong customer-first mindset with a consultative, solution-oriented approach
  • Proven ability to manage multiple opportunities simultaneously in a deadline-driven environment
  • Strong understanding of corporate incentive programs and/or full ship charters preferred
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a polished and professional client presence
  • High attention to detail with a structured, organized working style
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and CRM systems such as HubSpot
