What is a charter crew?

Charter crew are professionals who work on board private yachts, boats, or ships that are rented (chartered) for leisure, travel, or special events. Their roles can include captains, deckhands, engineers, chefs, and stewards/stewardesses, all dedicated to ensuring safety, smooth operation, and a high-quality experience for guests. Charter crew are usually hired by a yacht management company or directly by the vessel owner for each charter trip. They handle everything from navigation and maintenance to hospitality and guest services, adapting to the needs and preferences of each charter group.
