We're Charlottesville Media Group, a leading marketing and media agency located in Charlottesville, VA. We're expanding and actively looking for Media Advisor's to join our sales and marketing team.
This is a client-facing, outside sales and marketing role created for someone with strong interpersonal skills that is energized by helping local businesses grow. You'll interact directly with businesses of all sizes, architecting their marketing approach and guiding them through the full customer journey-from "just curious" to "ready to buy."
You'll work a healthy mix of existing client relationships, inbound leads and your own outreach. A curious spirit and growth mindset are critical for this role.
We'll train you to use and talk about broad-based, high-impact channels like video streaming and radio as well as hyper-targeted tactics like paid search and digital retargeting. Even if you don't have extensive experience with modern-day marketing tools but possess an appetite to learn and grow, you can thrive here.
Collectively, we're a group of connectors. We help strengthen ties between residents in the community and companies that operate in it. We study the Charlottesville market and stay up-to-date on consumer behaviors, ensuring we put our clients in the right places at the right times in front of the right audiences.
What we're looking for:
Experience managing and strengthening client relationships. Past experience in sales, marketing or hospitality experience preferred.

What you'll get:
Base salary + commission.
Year 1 average earnings: $65,000-$80,000.
Year 2 average earnings: $80,000+... it's up to you!
