Come join our amazing team and work onsite in Westfield!
The Lien Release Specialist will be responsible for processing the recording of the reconveyance and satisfaction of lien releases. This position will also audit vesting for accuracy and work closely with our outside vendor. Perform all duties in accordance with the company's policies and procedures, all US state and federal laws and regulations, wherein the company operates. The target pay range for this position is $22.00/hr - $24.00/hr.
What you'll do:
  • Receives and processes requests for daily paid-in-full loans.
  • Orders collateral files or other documents as necessary.
  • Obtains Deed of Trust or Mortgage Recording information.
  • Obtains Assignments if needed.
  • Works closely with outsource vendor to complete requests within timelines.
  • Reviews original collateral documents.
  • Resolves exceptions as reported daily by vendor.
  • Prepares releases for filing with the county agency.
  • Assists customer service with lien release related inquiries.
  • Reconciles pay offs as determined by company for various states.
  • Audits vesting of legal entities for accuracy.
  • Provides vendor and tracking reports to management.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

What you'll need:
  • High School diploma or equivalent work experience.
  • Two (2) or more years' experience in the mortgage industry.
  • Knowledge in preparing service releases and auditing mortgage notes and documents.
  • Outstanding attention to detail and organizational skills.
