Job description

Are you energetic, outgoing, and love making people smile? Join our team as the iconic Chick-fil-A Cow! We’re looking for a dynamic individual to take on the role of Mascot Performer - helping us create remarkable and joyful experiences for guests of all ages at in-store events and community engagements. This role may also schedule you to serve as a Cow Handler for certain appearances.

What You’ll Do:

As the Cow (Mascot):

  • Step into character as the Chick-fil-A Cow and bring energy, fun, and warmth to every appearance.
  • Pose for photos, dance, wave, high-five, and help create unforgettable moments for kids and adults alike.
  • Stay in character with big gestures, enthusiasm, and charm - no moo-ing necessary!
  • Participate in events in the restaurant and in the community by creating remarkable experiences for all you come into contact with. Follow event scripts or directions when required.
  • Assist in setup and breakdown of events as needed.

As the Handler:

  • Serve as the Cow’s eyes, ears, voice, and guide - helping them navigate safely.
  • Keep the Cow safe by managing crowds, watching for hazards, and guiding them away from any obstacles.
  • Assist with costume setup, water breaks, and transitions during events.
What We’re Looking For:
  • Age 16+ with reliable transportation.
  • Comfortable wearing an enclosed costume for extended periods. This includes moving, walking, interacting with guests, and maintaining visibility and mobility while wearing the costume. Costume fit and comfort will be evaluated during the selection process.
  • Good physical stamina, coordination, and non-verbal communication skills.
  • A positive attitude and a genuine love for making people smile.
  • Flexible scheduling to accommodate events, including weekends and evenings.
  • Experience in performance, dance, theater, or mascot work is a plus!
Additional Responsibilities:
  • Care for the Cow costume - keeping it clean, stored properly, and event-ready.
  • Always represent Chick-fil-A with professionalism, hospitality, and a big (invisible) Cow smile.
